Extract quantities from a PDF drawing

When all you have is a PDF drawing, Yesper can count elements, measure distances to scale and produce a simple bill of quantities – for example doors, windows and parking spaces. Works for both CAD-exported and scanned drawings (A4–A0+). Good for quick checks and rough estimates in design and estimating.

How to do it in Yesper

  1. Add the PDF drawing.
  2. Ask Yesper to count the objects you need or measure distances.
  3. Yesper interprets the symbols, the legend and the title block.
  4. Review the result in Yesper and download if needed.

Settings & tips

  • State the scale if it is not clearly shown.
  • Ask for a simple bill of quantities as the output.
