A bill of quantities from the BIM model gives you quantities straight from the source – no manual take-off – as input for estimating, purchasing and design. Yesper interprets the IFC file, classifies the geometry and produces, for example, floor areas (per the Swedish standard SS 21054), classified slabs, a door and window schedule, wall and installation quantities and the number of apartments – depending on what the model contains and what you ask for. The result is collected in a tabbed Excel with a built-in self-check that catches things like double-counted slabs. Most valuable in the design and estimating stage.
If all you have is a DWG plan, you can still get quantities without manual take-off. Yesper converts the DWG to DXF and interprets, for example, layers, blocks, room labels and walls into a bill of quantities grouped per room – depending on what the drawing contains. When all you have is a PDF drawing, Yesper can count elements, measure distances to scale and produce a simple bill of quantities – for example doors, windows and parking spaces. Floor areas per SS 21054 (BTA/BRA/BIA – gross/usable/secondary floor area per the Swedish standard SS 21054 – plus A-temp) are needed for everything from detailed development plans to energy calculations. Yesper calculates them straight from the IFC model and reports them per storey. Most valuable in the design stage.
A door and window schedule is needed for design documents, purchasing and estimating. Yesper extracts the doors and windows from the BIM model with, for example, counts and types, grouped the way you want. Most valuable in the design and purchasing stage.
Excavation and fill volumes per Fall A/B (the Swedish reuse classifications) are needed for estimating, quantity adjustment and mass balance. Yesper reads the bill of quantities and extracts excavation (CB) and fill (CE) grouped by Fall A and B, with an excavation-vs-fill summary and a plausibility check. Most valuable in the estimating and production stage.
A technical description needs consistent coding and structure per AMA (the Swedish reference framework for construction specifications). Yesper suggests AMA codes and a heading structure and drafts description texts per code, based on your material. Most valuable in the design stage.

Visualising routes and areas speeds up coordination and review. Yesper draws lines and areas on a map in the chat from coordinates. Most valuable in design and coordination.
Seeing exactly what changed between two versions saves time and misunderstandings. Yesper compares two (or more) files – drawings, models, bills of quantities, documents and more – and highlights additions, changes and removals. Most valuable when a new version comes in during design.
