What changed since turnover

Anyone who has taken over a heat pump plant knows this. Startup leaves a temporary value to reset at the first service. Someone later changes a setting and writes nothing down. When the complaints come, nobody knows what's set.

One case on our Try page: a library's geothermal heat pumps. Yesper wrote the settings record: turnover value and every change since. Five of 24 had changed, one without a logged reason: a fan switched to ON through the BAS, then work orders for humid meeting rooms. A later setpoint change masked it.

The change with no reason turns up in the record instead of in a summer of work orders. Same for any plant with a BAS log, and the rest of the Try page: a ventilation basis of design for a school, geothermal sizing from interval data, a CO2 refrigeration job hazard analysis.
