The schedule says which week each floor gets framed and hung. The sub's budget says how many hours that takes. They come from different desks, and nobody lays one over the other until the week arrives and the crew comes up short.
One case on our Try page: Yesper laid a framing and drywall sub's labor budget over the interiors schedule. Higher up, the schedule had no rough-in week between framing and drywall. One week in January needed 13.7 workers; the crews total 9. As the crews stand, the last board goes up in March, not February.
You size the crews with the finish date in front of you. The missing rough-in week shows up now instead of in January. Same for any trade, and the rest of the Try page: quantities from an IFC model, a work plan for a culvert, claims from the site diaries.
