Anyone who has put borings into a model knows this. Points in a DWG, strata in a field log, results in a lab report, none written to be read together. The impacted volume sits between them, done by hand the week the excavation is priced.
One case on our Try page: a Phase II ahead of a garage excavation. Yesper built the borings as an IFC model, one object per stratum. The logs each describe a black fill differently. The model shows one lens through three borings in the excavation, above industrial screening levels: about 585 CY to segregate.
The excavation gets priced on what's actually in the ground. Segregation and waste profiling go in the estimate instead of stopping the job. Same for the rest of the Try page: an earthwork balance with contaminated soil, lab data from scans, top of rock from probe logs.

Yesper is the AI civil engineer for construction and infrastructure. AFRY, COWI, NRC Group and other Nordic firms use it to halve the time on a study, rerun calculations in minutes, and catch errors that would otherwise slip through. Get in touch if you'd like to see what it can do for you.
