Every row in the sheet says OK

Anyone who checks another engineer's calculation knows this. Every row says OK, the partial factors are in the input cells, and the construction documents go out this week. Whether the formulas use them is another question, and finding out means tracing every cell.

One case on our Try page: the calculation sheet for a reinforced soil wall. Yesper traced every formula to its cell. The partial factors were there, and no formula used them. With design shear strength, sliding and bearing capacity fail, bearing capacity at 1.54 where the sheet said 0.60.

The error turns up in the review. Longer reinforcement or ground improvement gets decided while the wall is still a drawing, not after the construction documents are out. Same for the neighbouring jobs on the Try page: a settlement calculation rerun against the lab tests, shear strength from CPT logs, a review protocol for a design package.

Yesper is the AI civil engineer for construction and infrastructure. AFRY, COWI, NRC Group and other Nordic firms use it to halve the time on a study, rerun calculations in minutes, and catch errors that would otherwise slip through. Get in touch if you'd like to see what it can do for you.
