The RFQ counts the years differently

Anyone who has put an SOQ together knows the resumes get checked last. The master resume adds the years up. The RFQ counts calendar time, per discipline, inside a window. Nobody checks until the week it's due, with the team already named.

One case on our Try page: key personnel resumes for an SOQ, checked against the RFQ and trimmed to one page. Added up, the hydraulics lead has the years. In calendar time, concurrent projects counted once, she's two months short. The structures lead's only pedestrian bridge is too old to count.

The gap shows up in your review, not the owner's, while there's time to add what the resume left out or name someone else. Same for the rest of the Try page: a go/no-go before bidding, sub bids checked against the bid package, a design fee from floor plans.
