File formats Yesper reads and writes
Yesper works in the files your project already consists of and hands back the deliverable in the format you send on. The tables show, format by format, what Yesper reads and what it writes. If the format you work in is missing, contact us and we will add it.

How to do it in Yesper
- Add the files: drag them into the chat, pick them from Secure folders or fetch them via SharePoint.
- Ask for what you need. Yesper reads each file in its own format, the drawing as a drawing and the spreadsheet as a spreadsheet.
- Say which format you want the result in, for example Word, Excel, PowerPoint or PDF.
- Review the result in Yesper and download it if needed.
Settings & tips
- A file can be up to 60 MB. DWG and IFC files, road models and point clouds can be up to 200 MB.
- DWG drawings, IFC models, schedules, road models and point clouds are read when you add them to the chat. Search across the project covers PDFs, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files, images, email and text.
- Add your Word, Excel or PowerPoint template and ask Yesper to build on it.
Example prompts
Summarise the geotechnical report in Secure folders as a Word memo.
Read the tender documents for road 52 in Secure folders: the administrative regulations (PDF), the bill of quantities (Excel) and the schedule (.mpp). Deliver a Word memo with key dates, penalties and warranty periods, and an Excel sheet with the quantities summed per AMA code.
FAQ
Can Yesper read scanned PDFs and handwriting?
Yes. Scanned pages and handwritten notes are read with OCR.
Does a change overwrite my original file?
No. The change is saved as a new version of the same file, and earlier versions stay in the file's history.
What happens with a format that is not in the tables?
The file is skipped when you add it, and Yesper says why. Save it in one of the listed formats first, for example a .ppt as .pptx.
Can a missing format be added?
Yes. Contact us and tell us which format you need, and we will add it.
