Quantity takeoff and MF check, Hagtornsgatan–Slånbärsvägen
Earthworks, water and sewer, street and lighting quantities taken off the CAD layers of tender drawing 101, with the scale verified and every item compared with the bill of quantities (MF). Trench excavation and pipe bedding are well above the MF.

Summary
Trench excavation · CBB.3111
Excavation is +23.7% above the MF
3,650 m³ from the drawing against 2,950 m³ in the MF. With the 1:1 slopes of T-201, the main and side trenches alone come to 3,329 m³; the MF volume corresponds to a slope of about 1:0.68. Raise as a question to the client before the tender deadline: which slope and trench width the MF assumes.
Pipe bedding · CEC.2111
Bedding is +19.7% above the MF
81.4 m³ from the drawing against 68 m³. The MF includes the 140 m of service pipes, but its bedding is below even the 72.7 m³ for the main and side trenches. Ask the client whether bedding in the 13 service trenches is included, and price it separately if not.

Pipes, manholes, gullies, kerbs, asphalt and lighting agree with the MF. The scale was confirmed as 1:400 from two independent dimensions. These items can be priced at the MF quantities.

Scale check
The drawing scale was checked against two dimensions that can be read independently of the title block, before any quantities were measured.

Deviation
Drawing quantities for excavation and bedding use T-201 as written (slope 1:1, bottom width 1.8 m, bedding 0.15 m). The water main, PE 160, is measured on its layer but was not part of this comparison.

Main trench 180.0 m, side trench 89.1 m and 13 service trenches 58.3 m (b = 1.0 m, d = 1.9 m). The MF volume is reached only at a slope of about 1 : 0.68.

Method
The 16 CAD layers of drawing 101 were read: polylines, closed polygons and blocks for manholes, gullies and lighting columns.
The scale was checked against the 6,5 m carriageway dimension and the 0–40 m scale bar. Both give 1:400, as stated in the title block.
Lengths, areas and counts were measured per layer. Trench and bedding volumes were calculated from type section T-201 and the depths along the profile.
Each quantity was linked to its MF item by AMA code, and the deviation was computed as (drawing − MF) ÷ MF.
Measured lengths and block counts were checked against the drawing labels: centreline 180.0 m = stations 0/000–0/180, 14 manhole blocks = SP1–SP7 and D1–D7, 9 columns = B1–B9.
Assumptions and limits
The excavation volume is based on type section T-201 A with side slope 1:1, bottom width 1.8 m and bedding 0.15 m. Service trenches use bottom width 1.0 m and depth 1.9 m.
Side and service trenches start at the main trench wall, so no volume is counted twice.
The water main, PE 160 (272 m), is measured but not part of the comparison. Footways, planting beds and street trees are not compared either.
Quantities are read from the CAD geometry of drawing 101 dated 2026-09-14. Check them against the digital drawing, and any later revision, before the tender is submitted.
