Handhole schedule to model import, Pine Subdivision at Pine Bend
The Rev C handhole schedule was reconciled against the Rev D signal and communications plan sheets and converted to an import file for the 3D model, with track, side, offset from track centerline and cover elevation relative to top of rail (TOR) for every structure. The import file has 62 structures: 5 were removed, 3 were added, and 10 have conflicting or converted values to check before submittal.

Summary
Plans vs. schedule
5 structures drop out and 3 are added
Rev D moves the conduit crossing under the tracks from Sta. 172+83 to Sta. 177+43, next to PA 417. HH-239, HH-240 and HH-241 at the old crossing are no longer on the plans, and HH-265 to HH-267 at the new one are missing from the schedule. Sheet SC-12 also shows cable trough with no handholes from Sta. 124+61 to 129+53, so HH-211 and HH-212 drop out.
Conflicting data
4 structures contradict the plans on side, track or offset
Per the schedule, HH-247 would sit 2.5 ft from the MT1 centerline and HH-225 2.5 ft from the Track 3 centerline. The plans show both outside the tracks. HH-204 and HH-209 have offsets that do not match the standard plan. The import file uses the plan and standard plan values and flags the rows for review.
Elevation relative to TOR
6 handholes right of MT2 are in NAVD 88
From Sta. 192+85 to 209+25 the schedule gives 609.48 to 612.00, while every other row is between −2.76 and −1.64 ft. Those are cover elevations in NAVD 88. Converted with top of rail from the track geometry, they become −1.64 to −2.40 ft.
Reconciliation and import file
The plan shows the structures along the Pine Subdivision with the tracks straightened and offsets exaggerated. Switch between schedule Rev C and the import file, filter by exception and click a structure for its track section, sources and import row.

Method
Read the 64 rows on the Structures tab of the schedule.
Read the structures on sheets SC-11 to SC-16 Rev D from the PDF text and symbols: 62 structures with ID, station and position relative to the tracks.
Matched rows on structure ID with a station check, tolerance 15 ft. Schedule rows with no structure on the plans drop out. Structures on the plans with no schedule row are added where the plans show them.
Checked track and side against the plan position. Side is taken looking toward increasing MP: left negative, right positive.
Compared each offset with the standard plan section for fill, cut or track crossing. Differences over 0.3 ft are flagged.
Read elevations outside −6.5 to +1.5 ft as NAVD 88 and converted them with top of rail from the track geometry at the structure's station.
Wrote the import file in plan order, sheet by sheet and then by station, to the import template.
Assumptions and limitations
Where the plans and the schedule disagree, the Rev D plans govern. Every such row has status CHECK in the import file.
New structures take the standard plan offset and elevation, since the schedule has no values for them.
Top of rail is top of low rail from the track geometry profiles, in line with the usual US practice of using the low (inside) rail as the grade rail on curves. Superelevation in curves is not applied separately.
Offsets (12.5 ft in fill, 11.0 ft in cut, 15.0 ft at track crossings) and cover elevations come from the railroad's own standard plan SC-STD-05, not from AREMA or another national standard. Whether they suit this railroad has not been checked; the railroad's signal engineering should confirm them before the import file is used.
Plan positions are scaled from 1" = 100' sheets and are used to check track, side and section type, not as new offsets.
Stationing is along MT1 with Sta. 100+00 at MP 41.20; mileposts are computed from station. Nothing was compared with a field survey.
